1. Minimum 10 years of professional writing experience, with a minimum of 4 years team management responsibilities.
2. A minimum of Bachelor of Science degree or Bachelor of Engineering preferred.
3. Technical publication and writing experience in hardware, software, and electronic industry required.
4. Ability to be a subject matter expert in technical publications tools such as Adobe Acrobat Professional, MS Word, MS-Visio, Microsoft Project, RoboHelp Office, Snag-IT, HTML, and Document Management tool.
5. Must be a fast self-starter with excellent communication skills: oral, written, and editorial.
6. Manage technical publication team with responsibilities of hiring, training, appraising, and project management.
7. Proactively address all documentation issues relating to the project and manage team resources for high quality and productivity.
8. Work closely with cross-functional team members to produce content for hardware and software products.
9. Plan and manage end-to-end life cycle of product documentation.
10. Facilitate communications and escalations between SME’s and assigned resources.
11. Coordinate SME input to Technical Writers and/or Technical Illustrators.
