Job Description:
Implement and maintain the regional network infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance
Provide 1st and 2nd Level of Systems and Network infrastructure support which includes Windows 2000/2003 servers / VPN and Cisco switches / routers
To ensure smooth running of the computer systems and networks with minimum disruption
Provide overall desktop support including develop, install, configure and deploy company wide desktop/laptop
Perform network performance analysis and troubleshooting
Install, configure & administer network, office-related application, user pcs, system & servers
Provide technical support and problem resolution for server, desktop & laptop support
Conduct regular preventive maintenance of network, office-related application, and system. Configuring and Troubleshooting the Desktop Environment
Support of users in various sites locally and work with regional HQ SG team for projects in India
To perform other duties as and when required
Desired Candidate Profile:
Minimum Diploma / Degree in Information Technology or equivalent and with CCNA/MCSE certification
Develop and deploy enterprise wireless network with the appropriate encryption / authentication protocols
At least 2 to 3 years of working experience in WAN/LAN technology & setup
Minimum 2 to 3 years of relevant working experience in end users support & server Infrastructure setup and management
Must be excellent in major brand PC and notebook trouble shooting, support and installation
Familiar with Cisco equipment, LAN/WAN/MPLS routing technologies and firewall setup
Must be familiar with different Windows client and server operating systems, e.g. W2K, Win XP, and Win 2003 Server.
Candidate familiar with applications such as MS Exchange, Active Directory, Backup Exec, RFID, RedHat Linux will be an added advantage
Knowledge in network management systems and security products is an added advantage
Good interpersonal, analytical and problem solving skills
Able to work in a team, is meticulous and has experience in interaction with customers and vendors
Excellent communication skills and a team player
Willing to work on weekends and after office hours as and when required
